Which is “Hotel Operations Tactics and Strategy” simulation.

This software is so COOL!

Let me explain what it is!

This is the definition:

HOTS is a business management training simulation run on a computer network and is based on the redevelopment and management of a large hotel. The complexities and service sensitivities of a hotel scenario have made the program a preferred training choice by many service sector organisations.

HOTS is the most realistic service industry business simulation available, being as close as you can get to running a real business without actually sitting in the general manager's chair.

We did our business plan for a case study of a ALMOST bankrupt hotel!!!

And now, after mid-term exam…

Will do the simulation!!!

U have to consider what will u going to do in the simulation

And who are ur competitors?

They r from ur CLASS!!!

There are 6 teams

We r team NO. 5

So our competitors are the other 5 teams!

Today, during “Managerial Projects class”

We put the room rates, meal rates, advertising, staff, menus and refurbishment, etc.

Almost everything on the HOTS simulation

After that

Teacher said: 3.2.1 !

MY GOD!

First month passed!

All of us opened our Income statement to analysis how did our hotel work!

DAMN! Our ranking is No. 5!!!! Which means really really BAD!

So during 2^nd month, we need to do some changes

For example: do one more advertising, refurbish more area

Teacher said: 3.2.1 !

SO EXCITED!

We r no.3 NOW!!!

During 3^rd month

We add PR for our advertising and focus on Weekend Leisure and lots of things

Teacher said: 3.2.1 !

WOOHOOO!!!!!

We are NO.1

This kind of game is SUPER DAMN Exciting!

You need to analysis everything, consider lots of things, and 看誰心機重是重點!!!
